This website offers good advice on staying in bali:
According to the website, you can get a homestay or cottage to stay in for RP50,000 to Rp 150,000. Wow, that's equivalent to about $22SGD per night and if you share with your friends, it cld be cheaper per head compare to staying at a hostel where you have to share bathroom with everybody.

Bali ... The first step
Ok folks, it's been a long time since I posted anything on this webby :)
I have just booked on impulse flight to Bali - air asia's cheap flights were simply too irresistable XD
Coming up on my list of to-dos:
1. Check out the hotels need to stay in Bali, KL.
